"Becoming You: Helping Professions" to be held at Project Self-Sufficiency
A free seminar about Helping Professions will be offered to teens and adults on Thursday, April 26th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Newton Medical Center Chaplain Randy Parks, and Psychotherapist Randi Jeddis, will be joined by Sussex Middle School Guidance Counselor Mary Jo Vroegindewey and Project Self-Sufficiency Executive Director Deborah Berry-Toon for a discussion of their background, education and the tasks that accompany their unique professions. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Helping Professions” will touch on positions in social work, counseling, schools and hospital settings, private practice, and more. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Call 973-940-3500 to register.
